George Tamaro is a structural engineer with over 50 years of experience in foundation engineering. Currently working with Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers, Mr. Tamaro has worked in design and construction for a variety of agencies and international firms, and is an innovator in the field of difficult foundation problems and slurry wall construction. A noted expert on slurry wall and tieback technology, he also has extensive experience in more conventional foundation and marine construction, sheeting, bracing, and underpinning. He holds several U.S. and Canadian patents in slurry wall construction.
